About us

Fenman Ltd was founded in 1988 as a publisher of training resources training DVDs, training videos, training manuals and training games for use by learning and development professionals.

Fenman has grown over the years and is now the dominant publisher of training materials in the UK. Our training resources focus on  management soft skills for example, absenteeism management, change management, communication skills, conflict management, customer service sales training, presentation skills, teambuilding as well as call centre and telephone skills. We also have an extensive range of training materials for the trainer covering training ice breakers, coaching and mentoring training resources and emotional intelligence training resources.

We also publish the leading magazine dedicated to training, TJ: The Publication for Learning and Development, as well as three other subscription products, Train the Trainer, Coach the Coach and Management Essentials. TJ offers a wide range of training workshops aimed at supporting trainers in their own professional development.

Fenman focuses on identifying the current and future needs of the training community and then publishing the most appropriate resource in the most appropriate format. We are continually extending and improving our range of products and services, and enabling greater access to our products. We are proud of our reputation for excellent customer service, and for the commitment of our staff to understanding all of our products through regular training and support so that we can act in a consultative manner to our customers.

Fenman Ltd remained in private ownership until 2003 when we were taken over by Huveaux plc. Huveaux comprises of Epic, a leading developer of e-learning resources, Dod's Parliamentary Communications which is the leading UK publisher of political information, Westminster Explained, Westminster Briefing, Lonsdale school revision guides and Lett's Educational resources. Huveaux also has interests in France and Belgium.
