Age: Realising the Benefits of a Diverse Workforce
More and more organisations are reaping the business rewards of a mixed-age workforce. By helping people reflect on their own behaviour and the impact it has on others, we encourage fair treatment for people of all ages and help to retain valuable workplace skills and experience.
Age: Realising the benefits of an age diverse workforce is produced in association with The Employers’ Forum on Age.
Part One is a documentary, which enables viewers to gain an awareness of the key issues surrounding age and the workplace in the light of the new age regulations.
Age and your workplace challenges the ageist stereotypes by featuring the working life of a 60 year old winch man with a Coastguard Search and Rescue Helicopter Unit. At the young end of the scale, we meet the 19 year old who became the London winner of the Contribution to Business Award 2006.
Part two consists of 4 dramatised case studies, based on real-life scenarios, exploring the differing aspects of Age in the workplace, such as banter, job interviews
