Under Pressure

Successfully coping with stress
Stress is much more than just a problem for individual employees. It is one of the major causes of absence from work, it is estimated that over 166 million working days are lost each year due to absenteeism, many as a result of stress. The HSE suggests that the annual cost to the UK through stress-related illness is 4 billion pounds.
Under Pressure will help individuals and their organisations to fulfil their legal obligation to protect the psychological and physical health of their employees.
Under Pressure empowers individuals to assess their susceptibility to stress and take appropriate actions to avoid it. Using video scenarios, animation and interactive quizzes, the resource provides a complete stress-busting kit which helps people deal effectively with the pressures of the modern workplace.
"More and more cutting edge organisations acknowledge that their people face pressures which if not dealt with effectively can lead to stress. I've designed Under Pressure as a personal development tool that will complement or form a key part of any organisation's stress policy". Professor Cary Cooper CBE
