The advent, or even the rumour, of change can have an enormous influence on an organisation. Individuals will often not be aware of the effect that it is having on them and on their colleagues; management frequently underestimate the damage that can be done by handling change in an insensitive or unassertive way.

In this training activity, participants discuss the effect of change on individuals and, through a case study, identify the interpersonal aspects of handling change as a manager or supervisor.
