How to choose the best thing to do.
You begin the training activity by explaining the general principles, followed by a demonstration involving a familiar decision, choosing a new car. The participants then practise using the technique on a problem you set, choosing a hotel venue, before trying out their new skills on one of their own projects or opportunities.

Purpose: This training resource is intended for use by trainers with teams or individuals when any decision arises about which course of action to take. In a quality initiative there are certain ‘classic’ opportunities for the selection grid: deciding which problem or project to tackle; deciding the root cause(s) of problems; and deciding which solution(s) to adopt. It is also a powerful technique for comparing candidates in a recruitment selection process.
