This is a powerful session to use at the beginning of a new project. It uses coaching principles to ensure the project team owns, and is focused on, the project goal, as well as being focused on the teams own approach to the project

You introduce this training activity by explaining the overall objective – to ensure a successful beginning to the project. The participants establish their approach to teamwork, identifying team qualities and ground rules. They then use the GROW sequence to define the project goal. Working in small groups, they go on to test the goal against ten categories of questions. Finally, you lead a discussion where the goal is further refined as the participants share their ideas.
