This training activity uses a case study to illustrate typical behaviour demonstrated by some younger members of staff, who frequently complain of being underused and undervalued in the first couple of years after their appointment.
This training activity uses a case study to help participants identify the essential preparation needed to ensure the success of a coaching discussion with a young member of staff. The training activity can either stand alone or be linked with ‘Developing your workforce’ and/or ‘Conducting a coaching discussion’.
Who is it for: This training resource is intended for use by trainers acting as facilitators, but managers, coaches, colleagues or consultants can readily facilitate this training activity.
