This training activity introduces the nine stages to running a disciplinary interview and the participants are asked to list the skills or behaviours appropriate to each stage of the interview.

This training activity requires participants to identify appropriate behaviours and communication skills for each stage of a disciplinary interview. The training activity can be used as a short energiser to explore the different skills and behaviours needed. It can also be linked with ‘Setting the interview agenda’, which requires participants to put the stages of a disciplinary interview into the correct order.
