The culture of any organisation is key to the way it operates. This training activity is designed to help participants define the culture of their own organisation and then decide which aspects encourage attendance and which, if any, encourage absenteeism.

You begin this training activity with a brief introduction, after which the participants work in groups to define corporate culture. You then lead a plenary session to discuss their ideas and produce a statement defining the term. The participants again work in groups to discuss how the components of a corporate culture work for or against positive attendance management. You review their results to identify key points. Next, the participants work individually to assess the corporate cultures in their organisation. You will then lead a further plenary session to discuss their results and bring out the key points of the training activity.
