People have all the ability they need to achieve excellence. However, even the most capable staff sometimes falter in particular situations when a boost to their confidence or a feeling of calmness would have enabled them to succeed. Kinaesthetic or ‘touch’ anchors, enable these inner resources to be accessed instantly, whenever and wherever they are needed.
This is an interactive training activity where participants discover that they already have some anchors which have occurred naturally, of which they may not have been aware. You demonstrate the process for setting and triggering a kinaesthetic or touch anchor and participants then work in pairs setting anchors on each other. Next, auditory and visual anchors are explored and participants invited to create their own as an action point.
Who is it for: This training resource is intended for use by trainers to teach participants how to create their own anchors, or triggers, to instantly access inner resources. Anchors enable individuals to be at their best whenever they feel their abilities are being challenged.

Purpose: This training resource is intended for use by trainers with participants at all levels. Anchors can be created to access whatever inner resource is desired. Thus, a calm anchor would be appropriate for anyone experiencing stress in the workplace. A confidence anchor is excellent for anyone feeling anxious before making a presentation. An energising anchor is appropriate for someone who feels drained or demotivated.
