In any training programme on dealing with difficult and aggressive behaviour, coping with conflict or dealing violence, you need to acknowledge these differences, start to develop some working definitions and provide a safe space for those participants, who have experienced difficult and aggressive behaviour, to talk about it.

The small groups provide a forum for the participants to share experiences. The continuums are displayed, any significant differences being highlighted, along with the similarities and the range of behaviours.
