Now that you have successfully recruited your new employee, the next step is to construct an effective induction programme to introduce them to the organisation.

This training activity is designed to stand alone, but follows a natural progression from ‘Effective recruitment and selection’, ‘Is that advert lawful?’, ‘Developing a legal application form’, and ‘Conducting fair interviews’, which focus on recruitment and selection. Having selected the new employee, care should be taken to devise an effective induction programme which aims at introducing them to the organisation, and the organisation to them.

Who is it for: This training resource is intended for use by trainers acting as facilitators, but managers, coaches, colleagues or consultants can readily facilitate this training activity.
