Purpose: This training resource is intended for use by trainers to enable players to explore ‘emblems’ – gestures that convey whole words or phrases – and the need to ensure that their body language truly conveys what they expect it to convey. Sometimes we are surprised when others misunderstand our messages. We believe that we have conveyed an idea with clarity, yet the recipients of the communication appear to have misunderstood it.
