What you need is a good holiday.’ Well meant by misguided help to those who are under pressure at work can leave them feeling worse than ever. Learning how to help is particularly important for those who have a supervisory or managerial role.
In this training activity, through plenary instruction and discussion, participants learn how to give help to those who are under pressure at work. In groups of three they use role-play to put these learning points into practice.
Who is it for: This training activity is intended for use by trainers to give participants the opportunity to practise giving help to someone who is under pressure at work. Learning how to help others is particularly important for participants who work in teams and thos

Purpose: This training activity is intended for use by trainers towards the end of a course as it can be beneficial to extend and reinforce the learning of other activities. Although useful for participants at all levels, this training activity is particularly relevant for those who manager, supervise or lead others. It is helpful, though not imperative, if the number of participants for this training activity is equally divisible by three.
