No matter how effective you are personally, there are occasions when you find yourself in a situation where your time is being wasted. This training activity looks at some of the biggest timewasters (meetings, business travel and general waiting) and the various ways they can be managed to increase your productive time.
You begin this training activity by discussing with participants the essential questions they should ask before they commit themselves to a meeting. Then you ask participants, working in groups, to come up with ways to make travelling time more effective and productive. Finally, you look at how they can anticipate, plan and prepare for general time lost to waiting.
