Although a great deal of emphasis is put on leaders having a clear vision, this is, in a sense, the easy bit; what’s harder is achieving the vision. If leaders are to achieve a vision they need be able to measure progress towards it. It is essential that they measure the right things and this training activity introduces participants to the wide range of things they could measure.
After an introduction to the concept of measurement in business, participants work in groups to study one set of measurements in detail. They present this back to their colleagues.
