Attending the training course is an early part of the journey, preceded by needs analysis, planning how best to meet those needs, anticipating learning at the course and planning how to get the most out of it. The next part of the journey is putting learning into day-to-day practice, to achieve unconscious competence in the use of possibly new, or reviewed skills and processes. This activity provides participants with an opportunity to review their learning and to consider how best to continuously promote team learning and development.

This activity starts off with a linked series of short exercises on leading change. Next, participants self-assess their continuing learning needs to enable them to promote learning and development with their teams. The activity concludes with the development of an implementation plan.
