Everyone at some time experiences a feeling of inner conflict. At the very least, it may cause indecisiveness; at a more serious level, it may result in self-sabotage. As this conflict happens at an unconscious level, it is difficult, if not impossible, for the individual to recognise the elements in conflict and resolve their differences, resulting in an adverse impact on performance. This training activity comprises a technique for identifying and resolving internal conflict.
Participants work in pairs, firstly identifying the parts in conflict, then exploring how these differences can be resolved and finally, integrating the solution back into the individual.
Who is it for: This training resource is intended for use by trainers to provide participants with a technique for resolving the kind of mental blocks that result in a feeling of inner conflict and prevent the achievement of peak performance.
