Participants on any training programme need an opportunity to review their learning and to consider how they will put their learning into practice in the workplace. This training activity provides time for the participants to plan their next steps, so that they can implement their learning.

You start off with a brief introduction to the training activity and continue by introducing the participants to a process for planning and to objective setting. The participants then work individually to set two personal development objectives and to plan how to achieve these. Next, the participants pair up, to share their plans in order to make them as clear and specific as possible. The training activity closes with each participant saying one thing they will do differently as a result of the learning on the programme.
