The performance of a secretary can be greatly affected by the personal effectiveness of the manager. This training activity helps managers become more aware of how their own actions can impact negatively on the performance of their secretaries. It helps them identify the changes they should make to reduce this impact.
You ask participants to look at a case study which demonstrates some of the results of a manager’s poor personal effectiveness. Then you ask participants to identify where their own actions as managers may be hindering the performance of their secretaries and how they plan to overcome this.
