In a learning organisation, staff need to be encouraged to recognise and use every learning opportunity available to them. By regarding ‘failure’ as feedback, positive and practical guidance for the future can be acquired.

Participants work in groups of three using checklists to facilitate context reframes and then content reframes. Finally, they use an imaginary video playback technique to change an undesired behaviour as an example of a content reframe.

Who is it for: This training resource is intended for use by trainers to give participants the ability to ‘reframe’ an undesirable situation or behaviour with a more attractive and resourceful option – an essential skill for any successful person to possess.
