In order to go on learning successfully, we need to know not only what we achieved but also how we managed to achieve it. We have to understand the process of learning so that we can repeat it.

Participants spend a few minutes reflecting on how they learned and then demonstrate this through movement. If participants have not worked together before there is an alternative optional exercise using a graph of how they learned. Pairs work, using structured questions, helps participants focus on what helped and hindered their individual learning and this is followed by small-group work to consider continuing successful learning. The training activity ends with a celebration of successful learning.

Who is it for: This training activity is intended for use by trainers to encourage participants to reflect on the learning process and identify factors that contributed to successful learning so that these can be used again.
