Stress puts our bodies under pressure. It puts a strain on our heart and our digestive system. We become too busy or too tired to exercise or eat a balanced diet. Ironically, we are dismissing the two most effective measures for combating stress.

In this training activity the participants learn, through plenary instruction and discussion, about the importance of exercise and the key balances for effective exercise. In groups they go on to overcome objections to exercising. Again, through plenary instruction and discussion, the participants focus on the poor dietary habits we turn to when under pressure. Finally, in groups, they identify unhelpful habits and suggest alternative solutions.
