Participants need to have a clear idea of what good teamwork and team leadership are in order to be able to improve their own performance in these roles. This training activity uses a case study to provide a structured way of looking at these areas and thinking about good and bad practice in this area.

The participants identify and examine through the case study general problems that may occur in a team, especially when working under pressure. They consider the difficulties of team leaders, team management and the importance of effective communication in all areas of teamwork. Finally, the participants give their recommendations for improving teamwork and team management.
