How the different members of a team work together is of paramount importance to the results the team is seeking to achieve. In this training activity, the team works together to build a structure in the most efficient and creative way.
You begin by explaining that the purpose of this training activity is to explore how members of a team work together to achieve a goal, in this case, building a tepee. Once they have achieved their task, you work with the participants to debrief the exercise and analyse what they have learned. They then consider what make an effective team and reflect on the performance of their team(s) in the workplace.
Who is it for: This training activity is intended for use by trainers with participants to undertake a team exercise, consider what makes teams successful and explore how team members work together effectively.
