In order for a team goal to be met, the whole team need to be aware of exactly what the goal is and how they are expected to meet it. This means that the whole team must play a part not only in the meeting of the goal but also in the planning, defining processes and input into the meeting of the goal. The team should be able to work on their own initiative, along with minimal input from the manager to come up with the process that all members of the team are in agreement with. By achieving this, the team is more likely to stick to the plan, and if there are changes they will only be minimal, making the communication of changes easier to manage. This indoor training activity addresses the issue by showing that even the most difficult of objectives can be met if the team work well as a unit.

As one team, participants construct a wall that displays a pattern on each side. Not only do they construct the wall but they also make the bricks to construct it with.
