The ability to measure what is being done is central to success in any venture. Without meaningful measures teams don’t know their starting point, have only vague ideas of progress and have no firm idea of when they’ve reached their goal(s).
The training activity takes the form of a team brainstorming exercise, followed by a consideration of the practical applications of the ideas the participants have come up with. It ends with the participants expressing their commitment to putting some of the measures into practice.
